Eversource administers commercial energy efficiency programs in each of its three states through state-specific frameworks. In Massachusetts, programs operate under Mass Save (the statewide collaborative). In Connecticut, programs operate under the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund / EnergizeCT framework. In New Hampshire, programs operate under NHSaves. Commercial lighting incentives include prescriptive rebates for standard LED retrofits, custom incentives for larger or atypical projects, and specialized small-business and public-sector pathways.

What the program covers:
Eversource administers commercial energy efficiency programs in each of its three states through state-specific frameworks. In Massachusetts, programs operate under Mass Save (the statewide collaborative). In Connecticut, programs operate under the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund / EnergizeCT framework. In New Hampshire, programs operate under NHSaves. Commercial lighting incentives include prescriptive rebates for standard LED retrofits, custom incentives for larger or atypical projects, and specialized small-business and public-sector pathways.
How the application process works:
Eversource's program structure differs by state, but generally includes pre-approval requirements for larger or custom projects, DLC-qualified product requirements for fixture-level incentives, and DLC networked lighting controls qualification for controls incentives. Documentation requirements are similar across states, though specific forms and submission portals differ between Mass Save, EnergizeCT, and NHSaves.
Echelon manages Eversource rebate paperwork across all three service territories under the customer's name. For multi-state operators, we coordinate submission in the correct state-specific program for each facility. Customers receive rebate checks directly from the utility; Echelon's fee is included in the project quote.
Eversource Energy is one of several utilities serving commercial customers in Connecticut. For the full state-level rebate picture including additional utilities and regional considerations, see the Connecticut rebate page.
